From my forum searches here and on AF1's site it sounds like if I purchase some surface mount front signals with 20 amp bulbs and purchase the integrated led taillight with turnsignals that I won't need to change my relay or anything else. Is this accurate?

I have a '02 RSV-R that I purchased used. I'm replacing the front turn signals due to a slip up on the track. The previous owner integrated the rear turn signals w/ the brake lights. I bring this up because I found something strange. I connected my new 12V lights (LED) and they didn't work...
