resetting

hi all, having a wee problem with my '03 RSV1000R. Disconnected the battery to clean the terminals and now can't reset the time. I hold down the + and - buttons for ages with the ignition on but the hours don't start flashing. Anyone had this problem before?

Hi there, I'm the new owner of a 2000 RSV Mille and I have a dashboard that resets itself every time the bike is switched off. The clocks are in KPH and the RPM resets to 6000 RPM, I know how to change these things but every time I turn the bike off, even for a few minutes it's back to KPH and...

i'm trying to reset my fork preload spring on my 04 factory.. but faced a difficulty to turn the bolt as it's too tight either counterclockwise nor clockwise.. do i need to lift the frond end first before resetting? or its a sign of any problemo with the fork? TQ!

I've a '00 Mille R with a less than 1 year old Yuasa battery. It has just started resetting the clocks every time I turn the ignition on. The connection are fine and I run it fairly regularly. I know it's usually a low battery to blame but could it be anything else? Any suggestions....?

happens to me once in a while, could be days, weeks or months.....but it will happen lol, just go to start my bike, itl splutter and then start and the clocks have reset, its annoying but its fine after that, just wandered for the reason?

Hi Guys Not been on for a while. Just had the 6k service indicator spanner come on on my 09 Tuono. Will be doing this service myself, and want to switch the spanner off. I have seen it mentioned here before. Anyone know the sequence to reset it. Cheers

Hi, before i take a test ride on the rsv4, can anyone tell me does the rsv4 store the top speed and if yes, then how do i reset the top speed it stores in the memory:thumbup

Hi Guys, in the unlikely eventuality that my garage does not know how to re-set the multi-function computer, how do I clear the service warning from my display. I remember reading it somewhere, but I have not got the time to go searching. Someone must know.
