repleacment

Hi All! Have anybody never changed the Cam chain on Mille.My bike during the riding at 5000rpm starts to give strange noises(like stones inside of the engine) only from 5000rpm , under that you cant hear nothing.I think it will be the cam chain.Now i planning to repleace it and im just thinking...
