regrets?

Anyone gone from 03/04 RSV to 07/08 R1? Mostly weekend motorcyclist with odd 15 mile motorway/city roads commute to work. Love the RSV but have the option on a cheapish R1 (totally standard bike). BTW- If you have an 08 RSV(R) for ~£5K happy for a PM. :confused
