As above I have a akropovic end can with akropovic link pipe but has the cat in it does putting a straight through link pipe on make any difference?

Just thinking whilst fitting my hooked....has anyone tried cutting a hole in the top of the standard airbox over the existing filter? The engine could then draw more air through the hole, through the top of the filter as well as the bottom?:dunno

just had the K&N air filter come that i won on eBay last week. right diameter but it's about 6mm or so too short!!!!!! :dunno i obviously have the wrong filter, but for now i have packed between the filter and airbox lid with a ring of small bore air hose(which works good) :thumbup i will have...
