power?

Was heading back home today and went to overtake a car that was just plodding along as you do. Gave it a bit of throttle and lost power to the engine! It didn't cut out, dash was still lit but the revs just dropped and from nowhere she kicked back in again and shot me forwards (and skywards...

I have an 03 RSVR that I've recently acquired. I've heard that the U.S. bikes have a wire that can be cut to boost HP considerably. Is this true and if so how do I know if mine has been cut or not...where is it located? Any details/info would be most appreciated! Thanks, Pete :thumbup

had bike on dyno has got 75bhp @wheel,air fuel ok and both cylinders at same temp.tried different eprom but no joy,any suggestions guys?:dunno

Can anyone tell me at what rpm the bike is producing peak power?. The reason i ask is i want to set my rev limiter warning light to around this point, to stop revving the bike when it makes no difference and i would be better changing up. At the moment its set to 9500. Thanks
