Hi people. Nice long ride from Glasgow to ilchester to st Ives, then return. Awesome weather, awful roadworks. Curiously petrol has been coming out of the cap when I gun it, noticeable after filling. What do you think, is it possible to over-fill to this extent? I've never noticed before...

Hi all, my poor old **** has suffered another problem, went into garage and could smell petrol. on investigation I found the leak, it was coming from the rear of the fuel pump so I purchased a new seal and replaced it. ITS STILL LEAKING :confused any suggestions guys

Hi all, I've just lifted my tank (plastic 06 RSVR) and petrol started leaking from the filler cap surround. Any ideas? It is definitely fuel and not water, so I'm thinking it is bad seal around filler rim/cap. Could it be breather/drain hose related? Thanks in advance.

HI my tuono is leaking from the metal plate at the bottom of the tank. where the pump is. does anyone know of a sealant that is petrol risistant to use. i have been told hylomare is not risistant to petrol and will leak. job seems easy enough unbolt clean dry reseal. am i missing anything ...

As above really, oil level isn't rising or anything but it stinks of fuel, any idea why? The bike rides fine, doesn't bog down and splutter. I accidentally overfilled with oil so drained some out with a syringe and it was stinking.

Hallo! I just drained the oil from my RSV because the oil level was just below max on a cooled engine. There was not too much oil in the tank when i started riding this season. So I think its petrol. The bike wouldn't fire this morning? Any suggestions ? Kinde reguards Gr8dane
