painful

I bought a 2005 Tuono R about 3 months ago. Love it. What a monster! BUT the stock grips are killing my hands. Really, I swear I'm not so sensitive and like to leave things stock but these seem insane commuting around Los Angeles. Haven't found after market options. Any tips? ALSO mirrors...
