oily

What is the norm for this engine of oil consumption? I'm starting to notice warning oil light in the mornings (now was the second time). I did 3K miles since I bought it.

Hi a newbie here. anyone out there having problems with oil leaking rsv's. mines an '04 & have recently noticed some oil in the belly pan with the fairing off looks like its the oil tank leaking from the front bracket fastening. anyone know of similar problems & cost of repair?

On a slightly more serious note, Been fiddling with the bike, checking state of airfilter (pretty ****** as it appears to be the original) and noticed there was a bit of oil in the airbox....Now I'm sure it's not supposed to get in there...any ideas of the cause??!? Oh, and no I didn't pour it...
