how do i reset odemeter back to miles from km after batterys been off? thanks

Hi guys, my 05 factory which i have just bought has a problem in the odometer part of the dash , it seems as when you first switch it on it all lights up but when you look at it it should read all 888888, what i get for the first two are back to front L , now that ive done 3000 kms the odemeter...
