Ive just bought a 99 rsv, got it home and there is a whirring noise coming from the left hand side of the bike, which goes away when i pull the clutch in. Checked the trust bearing in clutch and its fine. Also when pulling away i can here a clunking noise sometimes from left hand side again...

hi guys,ive just got my mille been after one for ages and i got it for a good price,its pretty straight but has a slightly worrying fault,at tick over it seems to tick pretty loudly yet if i pick the revs up slightly it goes away,(or i cant hear it) almost seems like a tappet or camchain...

thinking of investing in a new lid,does anyone use an arai chaser and is it quiet on the t,ive a shoei xr1000 at the mo and its pretty good but im not wanting to end up with a noisy lid,ive had loads on sports bikes but cant really compare to that,any advice appreceated:cheers
