noise?

Alright guys, Need some help and advice. Im mean't to be off to see Matt (BB1000) tomorrow so I thought I would go and sort the rear brake out and check oil etc. the bike will not start, If I hit the button I get a click from under the seat abd the dash light dims a little but nothing else...
