naffing

Just gone to start the bike, it started fine, but it's revving it's **** off from cold and doesn't want to drop off the automatic choke, it's being doing this off and on since I bought it. Has anybody have any idea what the F##k's the matter with it, it doing me head in.:rant Any suggestions...
