magnetic

Hello all. My Allen keys are obviously tougher than my magnetic drain plug as I've managed to round off the inner. Is there a solution to get it out that's better than mole grips? Thanks

Is there a copper or ally washer to mate the surface of the drain plug head onto the crankcases? I have a gen 2 rsv 1000. Thanks.

Mornin' all... I got the Mille stripped down a bit at the weekend, mainly just to have a look under the fairings and see where the relevant bits are for the oil change planned for next weekend. I noticed that the allan/hex head on the oil drain plug (crank case not oil tank) is a bit mullered...

HMMMM. I have a very slight oil leak after changing my oil (first time I've done it on this bike). I managed to get the bottom drain plug back right first time, and the extended filter cover right on the second attempt (didn't tighten it enough the first time as I didn't want to break it! ) but...

What is the size of the tool to the socket head for the oil drain plug? Closest i could find in my toolbox is 7/16, but it is a little to small.
