Got these today: AF1 Racing : Aprilia Parts and Accessories: Crosstrax 1 Inch Lowering Pegs for Stock Rearsets - The pegs fit the bike, but the springs from the originals won't fit into the new pegs. I've emailed AF1. Anyone else had this problem?

Is there a way to lower the RSV R Factory 08 and how much would this affect my handling? I find the bike is about an 1in on the high side being only 5'8. I think the width of the seat may have something to do with it as well.

Thought that I would post this (whilst I am on the subject of suspension) as I found it quite handy. The bolt that holds the lower suspension link on that is closest the engine is hard to get out as the exhaust is often in the way. The lower one in the pic is the standard bolt the one at the top...

anyone know a firm that sells cheapish both upper and lower crash bobbins for the rsv1000r. I dont think £170 that some firms are charging is a fair price. Woodcrafts are £142 for just for the lowers!!!!!!
