lockset or immobilzer

Hi so I purchased an immobilizer/lockset and keys.. it came in now I am rewiring the old wire harness and upon plug in of immobilzer.. the red key icon does not blink like the old immobilzer unit.. the red key icon just stays illuminated (solid) whether the key is on/off... question is, does the...
