does any one have details of how they test the dB at track days. I can get a sound level meter from Uni but need details of distance, rev range etc etc. I have read it is either 0.5 or 1m away at a 45 degree angle and 2/3 or 3/4 max revs, so i guess 7 or 8000 rpm for us but this tends to be...

booking a 'quiet day' at donington soon where the noise limit is 98db. are the stock rsv pipes quiet enough? never asked what the level was at last noise test at oulton. cheers all
