Im going to sevice me 08 gen 2 tuono is it worth investing in a K&N air filter and why?

Hello All, was looking to put a K&N filter in as I have race pipe and matching Aprilia chip on the bike now but when I checked it tonight it was scruffy with what looked like oil. Ive taken it completely to bits and cleaned it all but was wondering if it has been overfilled with oil in the past...

having a bit more of a clear out.....filter is in excellent condition....make me an offer.....lh and rh mirrors(genuine aprilia),excellent condition £20 delivered. pics upon request as i think we all know what they look like:dunno

just had the K&N air filter come that i won on eBay last week. right diameter but it's about 6mm or so too short!!!!!! :dunno i obviously have the wrong filter, but for now i have packed between the filter and airbox lid with a ring of small bore air hose(which works good) :thumbup i will have...

Hi all, I sold my K&N on Ebay but the recipient either didnt get a ticket through the door from royal mail or didnt look lol. Anyways Id be happy with £25 delivered and its boxed and ready to post. Its covered les than 2k miles so is hardly used. Cheers :)

Anyone have any opinions on which oil filter is better? Is the K&N worth the extra money? I did a search on AF1 and here and didn't see anything; so I apologize in advance if I missed something. :dunno
