Aint been on the bike for a while as i got a ruddy great nail in my 2 month old pilot road 2 so when i went to turn her over there was hardly anything left in her. Anyway can anyone tell me if its ok to jump start an RSV via a car? and is it cool to earth it to the rear paddock stand pegs?

just been offered an 04 r which has been dropped, mainly cosmetic although, the current owner is claiming that it jumps out of gear. Now he says that you can knock it into gear ride it then once you take the load off the engine ie. start to slow down it pops out of gear. Big job? any ideas what...
