intervals

Hi Guys, I had my 2001 Aprilia Mille serviced at 18,500 miles.....it has flashed up service and is now at 22,500.....is this right? What is the length between services normally? very confused. Does anyone have the service schedule scanned in as I cannot find my owner book and have a long trip...
