inop

Hi, I've had my Factory for over a year but only noticed last night that thmain beam flash isn't working on the flash / lap timer button. The lap timer is working corrctly and so is the main / dipped beam (red) button, only the flash doesn't work. Does anyone have any ideas?

bloody hid light failed to fire up on way home from work tonight ,had to ride home on full beam .tried the spare bulb at home and it tries to fire up ie it flashes on for about a second then goes off ,tried the one in the bike and this does the same ,am i right in thinking its the ballast pack...
