hose

I found this guy in the buttom of the fairing on my 2000 Mille. What is it and where does i go?

Hi, this is my first post on this forum and sadly the it has to be for an issue. I just bought a black/silver Mille 1999 as fancied fancied a change from the inline 4 hum of my cbr600 and the ape seemed to be a good choice, especially given the low prices here. I bought the bike privately...

According to the official manual, there are dire consequences if hose-clips are re-used, or replaced with conventional Jubilee-type hose clips. New genunie hoseclips must be used every time a hose is disconnected. Is this actually the case, or just 'marketing'?

I had the pleasure of a split radiator hose at the weekend, pissed coolant all over the place. Managed to clamp it either side of the split to get me home but now need to replace the hose. How difficult is it to replace it, its the one that connects to the bottom of the radiator on the right...

So I spent whole of sunday removing fluids (oil and coolant), and taking parts off for fitting of Samco Hose kit (APR1) for my 2003 RSV Came unstuck and guys at racebikebitz said no-one had this problem before. They supplied 10 hoses, I need 13! The complication came around the hoses from Right...

The two hoses that come off the throttle bodies to the clutch has a red connector in one of the hoses. Can someone tell me what direction the arrow on that connector should be facing? Towards the throttle bodies or away? Cheers

I'm after some clear hose to go from the resovoir to the master cylinder, I have spent ages trawling the net and it seems that tygon hose is the best thing to go for but it seems impossible to find anyone that ships to the uk, does anyone know of somewhere I can get some please? Thanks in advance

Hi, Can anyone tell me what sizes and the ammount of clips/clamps I need to get for the engine hoses? Getting a set of samco stylee hoses for the bike and want to get new clis/clamps while i'm at it. Would rather go to my local tool shop than go through e-bay/internet. And am I right in thnking...

Where can i get 1.5mm ID vacuum hose from...tried ebay, bike shops n local car part shop and nothing Its to replace the small vacuum hose :(

Hi Has any one changed there water hosese for silicon ones I'm stuck on the left hand rad hose on a 1999 Rsv Mille it comes from the bottom rad and disappears up in side the engine onto a black round thing. How the hell do you change that hose :confused:confused

Is there a way to remove these without the proper tool as i want to replace them with some stainless steel clips as I've got a bit of a dribble And any idea the best size to buy ta

as the title .... and any idea where to get some or a good equivalent

It says in the manual to replace them when changing the coolant. Is this a must and should I use genuine Aprilia clips if I have to change them

Awright loons....ma T started tae bleed lovely pink juice awe doon the right hand side the day so ah decided tae sort oot the pish Aprilia hose clips once and for all before one went ping for real. So heres a wee set o piccies "how to do". Simple 1/2 hour jobbie an nae need tae drain anything...

i went to the ace cafe shake down at south end today just pulled onto the seafront when coolant sprayed everywhere lucky i was there and not halfway there investigated the cause found a hose clip had broken (o.e.m aprilia) on the left hand side rad to engine pipe, my mate went to halfords...

Can any of you that have changed your coolant hose clips tell me what size Jubilee Clips I will need to do the job. Saves me taking off the old ones then having to go get the new ones :thumbup As they say in the Scoots always be prepared. Cheers :cheers

I ran my Tuono while it was hybernating for winter, and it obviously didnt like being woken too early as it decided to piss its radiator contents over the floor. Having replaced several hose clips for jubilee clips I thought problem solved. Went for a run out today and let it stretch its legs...
