After valve check and service had a few oil leaks, sorted valve cover gasket to find another leak most likely from the hole shown in the picture. Any ideas what this hole does and why it suddenly started to leak from there? Thank you

So I've seen a set of cheap danmoto rearsets but they're advertised as post 04, could anyone tell me the hole centres for the 04 so I can compare them to my 2000 R please? I'll obviously post up the results as this could have us all with rearsets for £90 a set :D...
