Hi.
I'm a newbie to forum and this is my first post so thought I would make it useful.
I've been looking at rad guards on flee bay for a while now
They look good and aren't a bad price. About £80
But I'm tight and prefer to make things myself. :lol
So I purchased a length of mesh...
Just wondering if anyone has had a similar problem where the water temp runs hotter after fitting a rad guard? I have a new Factory 1100 Tuono which has an Evotech rad guard fitted. Prior to fitting the guard it was rare to see the water temperature up to 100C whilst actually moving it does get...
Fitted a evotech rad guard this evening ...... well that was a tricky little bugger to get on . The one i had on the GenII took 5 mins to fit but this bugger had me strip half the bloody bike down to get the thing on .
Nice bit of kit once it was on though , just dont expect it to be a 2 min...
On the inside of the swingarm, Is it fixed by a bolt or a rivet?
I just recently got an '01 Mille and the toe guard is hanging off since the paddock stand / crash bobbin was sheared off in a lowside.
I can't really remove the wheel for a better look until I fit a new bobbin.
Thanks.
I have a gen 1 radiator grill bought from eBay same one as in group buys. It's powder coated silver was about £50. Just make me an offer it was fitted until my bike was written off still perfect condition.
where can i get a rad guard from? Ive looked at r and g but dont like the look of it. Saw an evotech one on a dorsaduro it looked good but they dont do one for the tuono

Has anyone any info on some sort of insulating cover/standoff bracket to stop boot heels from melting on hot exhaust pipes?
I've seen them advertised somewhere, just can't remember where :dunno
I generally ride with the ball of my foot on the rest rather than the instep, this means my heel...
Didn't realise there was a want to buy section so this is also in the forsale:confused
Any of you guys seen around a carbon front with silver mesh in it or even standard carbon that I can put mess in for a good price:thumbup
Can anyone tell me what size mesh sheet i would need to cover a rad, take it they are both the same size, and also what size for oil cooler.Saves me taking bike to bits in this cold weather, size in cm would be great.
I have brought some trim edge and wont to make some mesh guards now i know the...
Anyone got a spare one of these kicking around they want to sell ( or give away...seeing as it's christmas :biggrin)

Some silly sod just burnt theirs because he forgot to take it off when starting the bike :roll
Don't suppose anyone has one of these kicking about that they're not using? My offside one, together with both screws, jumped ship on a recent ride. Don't imagine it's going to be possible to buy one from a dealer.
You can see the piece I mean in the bottom right photo in my garage on here...
Had a little time on my hands today so I decided to fit the rad guard I got with the bike.
Had to take off the side fairings to be able to fit the guard in place. But the main problem was that the guard would not fit into place because the clips fouled against a cable clip:
There was no way...
