Gilles shift rod is 150mm in length so no chance of accommodating said sensor so going to need one around 100mm but I can't find owt. This is all for a 2003 Gen1.

The actual process of bolting them on is clearly pretty strait forward, but on the gear lever side do I need to cut away the plastic faring...

I have seen a brake line extension before that was like a piece of tube fitted from the master cylinder and the banjo bolt and lines fitted the other end...
