gear??

is it normal that my 05 rsv wont start in gear? stalled it today for the first time and wouldnt start till i got neutral. if this isnt the norm any ideas what the prblem could be? cheers!

Funny thing happened today. Picture it Bike in gear.......clutch pulled in. I go to start the bike up and when i hit the starter button all i get is like the fuel pump arming sound.:confused:dunno When i put it in Neutral it starts no problem. As far as I know it used to start in gear. WTF...
