ecu or cdi

Hello all, Recently tried to install a Dr Rossi ECU into my 2002 RSV and it won't take. For some reason the bike goes into some form of a "limp mode" very slow acceleration. Put the original ecu back in and off I went with no hesitation, no issues. I suppose from that analysis I am looking...

Anyone here had ECU problems? I'm just about to put in my third ECU and they are not cheap. The symptom is simple, after a while of great fun riding, the bike just goes onto one cylinder..the rear the last time and that's it, no more twin but a 500cc single...new CDI is the only thing that gets...
