earth

Hi guys, dont take the p*ss too much but where is the earth strap on these Mille`s? I have done every mod suggested on here bar cleaning or adding a earth strap and i am still getting the slow turnover and flood sindrome. Getting a bit p*ssed off with it now Cheers for any help.:angry

Hi, I have a 2009 RSV1000R and I'm told there are a total of four earth wires. I know about the two connecting to the engine just beneath the frame above the footpegs, and my mechanic found a third under the tank on the right-hand side. Does anyone know where the fourth wires is located? Cheers

well ive searched and no idea as shows fooook all as usual with search lol i take it this is a case of new earth strap going direct to the starter motor ? can any one show a link or Grif's site as not found that either !!

Anyone know if the reg/rec on my 01 earths through its mounting bolts to the subframe? I suspect not but the last thing I want to mess with on a Mille is the reg/rec. Trying to fit some track bodywork and the seat hump is a bit of a tight fit so thought I would unbolt the reg/rec and secure it...

I have an 03 rsv and recently it has developed a strange problem. A few times when sitting at lights etc the bike has just suddenly died like the main fuse has gone. I turn off the key and turn it back on again but get the 4 clicks and kph change as the clocks reset. the bike then starts fine...

Hi, does anybody know where I can find the earth positions on a 2004 RSVR? :dunno I've got an intermittent fault and have tried everything bar checking the earths. Cheers
