display or speedometer

Hi, Just want to ask if anyone has experienced that the speedometer and display on the 2008 RSVR has gone dead. Luckily I was close to home :) - The only light is the key-light that lights up when i turn the key. Everything else is dead. It does not even start when trying to start the engine...
