how to remove service message from display on Aprilia RSV R 1000cc Reg2007 Please need help..... :dowhat

I have no digital readout or rev counter most of the time! It resets fine after I disconnect & then reconnect the battery, but then when I switch off it doesn't work. All I get is the neutral, oil & kick stand lights & the bike still runs great but it's hit & miss whether I have readout or not...
