choke or fast

Hi all, New Aprilia owner here with probably a schoolboy question. So at the risk of sounding completely stupid. Where is the choke/fast idle switch/lever? The only place I can see where one might be fitted is on the lhs switchgear, but I have a blanking plate on there. Am I missing something...
