chains

Hi can you help. Do you fit endless chains to your bikes, I have just bought one but not endless, the manual says endless, but I can't see how to fit if without taking bike apart, I'm not a mechanic as you can prob work out, so any help would be grateful thanks Bearshead

I have an EK Chain and my local mechanic said he cannot fit it because the DID Chain tool they have overtighten the pins? Is this a known problem?

Unfortunately losing use of the garage soon so the bike is going to be kept outside. I intend to keep it on a small hard standing outside the house and chain it to a ground anchor. Question is, decent chains are bulky things. Is there anywhere on the RSV where a decent sized chain will fit...

Oh bugger!!! :eek: Think I've just fooked up and bought the wrong front sprocket for my RSV. RSV has a 525 DID chain fitted and I bought a 520 15T front sprocket. Q1. Will it fit? Q2. What will happen? Q3. Why do I always make fook ups like this? Help!!!!!! :confused

How can you tell if yer chain is still ok or if you need a new one, If a new one is required how many links should it have and is 525 the correct one to get, i think i will get one anyway cos i like dem gold uns...:devious oh yeah its for a 2004 new shape... many thanks in advance.....:thumbup
