Well I've decided to do all my plastics on my gen 2 in carbon fibre It is a ball ache but should be cool after completion these are half way done next stage sand more epoxy sand polish or lacquer?
Besides the sidestand mod, I also put a new chain and sprockets on, which involved spending most of Saturday cleaning oily **** off with a toothbrush and parrafin!
Very satisfying when it's done and your in the pub afterwards though! It meant that I also got a chance to check the rear wheel...

1st mission of the day was to remove the all fairing and clean every inch of the bike ...which soon led to me removing the sprocket cover to be shocked at the nasty build up of grime which had also...
Sorted exhaust hangers (see pictures thread) .
Took the heated grips off and fitted some renthal grips .
Fitted new chain and15t / 42t sprockets although it already had a 15t on .
Booked in garage on 30th for throttle balance and check if map 2 is loaded .
Can't wait for new year...
