Been trouble shooting with my Mille could the brown connector cause this problem noticed it had melted yesterday?

just checked the yellow wires in the brown plug all ok butt followed wiring to a big white round plug with the 3 yellow wires in pulled it apart and its burnt out cut wires fixed back together I have 13.7.to 13.8 at tick over and 13.3 to 13 .4 at 4000 rpm is that ok ore is there a fault all help...

hi all , 3 yellow wires burnt to a crisp ,my qwestion is this do they have to be joined as,outter left to top to outter left bottom and center to center e.t.c. or can i just run a new 3 core and just join thanks stevo:bawling

Well burnt my finger but brown connector gone so hopefully no more low battery and extra earth lead. Also put on a 150amp starter solenoid only have so show my finger to the starter button and hay presto she start like a good un.

hey guys i done the brown connector mod today also added an extra earth wire. the thing is there was no differance in voltage reading at all im gettin 13.7-.8 on tick over with no lights on and 13.4ish with lights on and drops down to under 13 volts at 4rpm? did i do something wrong?
