I want to release my disc to be floating again. I gave them a wee wallop with a hammer yesterday, using a thick piece of cloth to prevent any damage, and it didnt seem to dislodge the bobbin at all.

Howzit peeps, hope all is having a good weekend out on there T`s. I have just got some R&G crash bobbins, the front ones. What i dnt know is if there is a torque setting for it when i tighten it up? Aswell as anay advice on fitting them what i should look out for?

bought some of these bobbins from race supplies direct of ebay for £30 inc delivery to fit the lower engine mounts near the footpegs. they appear to be well made but contained no fitting instructions so i assumed i should torque them up to 50nm as per the normal engine bolts however after about...

Im about to fit mine. had a quick peek at the instructions supplied and it says to tourque the bolts up but does not say how much, im guessing the aprilia manual has the tourque settings for the bolts.
I know what ive written sounds a bit randon but hopefully anyone who has fitted R&G crash...

What a pain these were to fit :jack, you can only just reach in with the tips of your fingers to get the washer and nut on :jack. Then when i'd done one side and started the other i realised they are left and right handed so off they came and back on the right way now :doug
