Looking at the badger mod pictures i have a question. why do you seal the KN filter on the top to make it higher and afterwards deal with the airbox lid sealing? can't this be meade more efficiently like this? maybe i am missing the whole idea behind this mod so can somebody explain please?

Brought a 8mm thick camping mat some glue and gay lube to do the mod.Printed badgers thread on how to do it.Can anyone tell me do the double strips of foam go all the way around the air box with extra foam put ontop at front and rear.

Now i have all the time in the world due to no job,thanks nsk and happy xmas to you:jack.I am going to do the badger airbox,went to halfords to get a camping mat and they dont do them at mine,wrong time of year. Can anyone point me to what thickness foam i need,and how high the build up on top...
