aftermarket exhausts

Hi all, I bought my 2005 RSV R a few months back, it has fantastic sounding titanium arrowe cans fitted, i run them with the baffles removed. I have heard people talking about the engine mapping and changing it due to have non-original cans fitted, does anyone know if this is the case, and if so...
