1st gear cuts engine out

Hi everyone. I just created a problem with my 03 aprilia tuono 1000. I was out riding around town yesterday when on route home i stopped at cashpoint. I pulled up, stopped engine ( like i had bin doin all day ). I started bike all ok, but as soon as i changed into 1st gear the engine...
