Hi all, can any one help please.
I'm in the process of fitting a zneon m328 light fitting to my 1999 aprilia, I'm fitting a jester kit as well so not using the original wiring harness as I'm going from 3 lights down to one that operates both hi and low beam.
So far I've wired it all in but cannot get the low beam to come on at all.
This is what I've done so far
Wired the red wire from the Ballest to the mains and ground the earth to the frame.
The halo light works when the ignition is on as it's wired to an earth on the frame and to the ignition.
I've looked at the Haynes manual and wired the 2 blue wires from the kit to the red/blue wire on the original harness, I've wired the black wire and white wire to each of the black and white wires on the original and swapped them around but only getting the following.
Have the red button on left handle bar switch (lap timer/ high,low beam selector) out I get no main beam but high beam but not that bright and the red lap timer switch when pressed switches light of and on. If I push the button in I get nothing but clicking from the bulb assembly and relays. I've switched relays over so it's not them and checked fuses which are ok. I've checked the old harness and apart from the side lights ( not being used on the new kit) everything's is matching colour wise.
So I'm bloody confused and stuck so if any one out there is an electrical genius can you help. Ps no wiring diagram came with the kit and it appears from the tinin net they don't. I can see that it can be any easy fix but just can't get my head around it at the mo
