Bike been sat on the Optimate doing a big fat feck all for @8 months.

Dusted it down yesterday and dropped it off at my local spanner monkey's for its MoT.

Passed!!!.

Couple of tiny advisories which were spongy feeling back brake ( surprise surprise!! ) and slight play in the pivot mounting for the rear shock but nothing to get miffed about.

Going back in next week for a full service and a TB sync.

Riding it home felt weird after an 8 month layoff. I had forgotten just how bloody quick this thing was. :doug

Oh and the other thing I was chuffed about was I didn't have to remove the Renegade's and bung the dustbin back on - he was happy to MoT it with the BS marked baffles fitted.

Result!!!. :biggrin

Not bad cheers m8, chuffed to bits with the bike sailing through the MoT. Renegade baffles back out and in the shed again now. :biggrin

Rode it to work yesterday morning. What a hoot. Felt like going right past the fire station and heading off for the day. :thumbup

Couldn't wait to finish my shift and ride home again.

About to give her a service and oil change today and then that's me all set for the sunny weather on its way. Also got an HID kit I bought last year from Tim ( AREESSMIL ) so I'll get that sorted out this week too.

No such luck, its like a summers day here today but I've been sat in all day waiting for Parcelcrap to deliver a dishwasher part and no bugger has appeared yet - typical!!!.

Consoled myself by giving the bike a good clean and polish. Looking very shiny now.

I'm off out on nightshift tonight though so will get a quick blat in tonight on my commute before I start work. :thumbup

Yes m8, still got the Renegade's on. Sounding sweeter than ever.

I think the ultimate accolade regarding the Rene's has to be last year when I was fuelling up at my local Shell station, a 996SPS came in for fuel. Full Termi's on it. Bloke wanders over and says "I have been behind you coming through the town for the last 10 minutes and those ( points at Renegade's ) sound superb". :thumbup

I just love the things, best exhaust note I've heard on a Mille to date ( baffles out of course ). Setting car alarms off coming through the main street in my town makes me giggle.

What are you running these days?. Still got that minted 03 Mille R ?.
