y2k rsv mille
on thursday evening riding home from work 5 mins in the engine died and wouldnt restart left it 2-3 mins started fine
then 5 mins later it died again and wouldnt restart so parked it in a mates shed got a lift home
i then went round later turned on the ignition (after putting it on a trickle charger) no fuel pump priming
next day i went round it started fine
just rode it home all ok apart from opening the throttle in 2nd it died then picked up straight away
yesterday started it up ran perfectly until it hit 86 degrees which is about the same temp it happened the first time

so any ideas ?

have a look at the fuel pump relay as it sounds like an intermitant fault its either a dodgy relay or loom connection so check them all the way to the pump (pump may be dodgy although unlikely). Also check your tilt sensor make sure it's not come off its pearch and it cutting the motor.

ive checked the loom connection ( 3 pin plug ) thats fine no free play and the tilt sensor seems fine it hasnt moved at all
the temperaure gets me as in why it cuts out at 85-86 each time

I'm not sure they're related?! have you checked the fuel pump relay? give Griff at aprilia performance a call, he knows these bikes inside out 01827 285500
