hi all, im looking at new boots fror the winter, ive seen some xpd h20out things that look handy for winter and wont break the bank, anyone ever had any? ive never really seen them around. Also im looking at altering my sprockets from standard, not looking to spend a fortune, if i just drop 1 tooth on the front will it make any noticeable difference? what does everyone recommend? does anyone know how to 'reset' a power commander aswell? im only getting 80 miles to a tank of petrol, im curious to set the power commander to standard ecu settings to se what difference it makes, however i dont have the power commander software or leads from buying the bike so hoping for a manual way of doing this! cheers fellas.

lol, i haven't got a power commander and only get 92!!!! i believe that the right hand hand controls the fuel flow lol..... sometimes i only get 85m. it must be an rsv thing. I was looking at sprocket ratios as i have chaged on all my bikes in the past for more acceleration and front wheel lightness;-) i spoke with B&C two ago re going 2 up on the back and he said to just change -1 front and +1 rear so 16 - 43 this keeps standard chain length and makes towns easier. alot of the guys here run 16 44 i believe but i haven't tried. as i say all my old bikes were -1 +1 . Cheers dude

yeh the mileage thing seems a bit strange, a mate of mine has just bought one, i warned him the economy was horrendous, he is now getting 150 miles+ to a tank, no power commander, there was a thread on here a few weeks ago about it and plenty of people are getting nearly double my mileage per tank. im no saint when it comes to speed but i aint that bloody fast at all! certainly not fast enough to halve the mileage! lol

lol lol, if there getting double than us maybe we should be riding world superbikes lol. maybe i need to get it serviced and then set up. i have got a gp system on it. havent changed anything else. just bought a big airbox type thing of one of the guys on here, that may make a differance to the juice. i am looking at adding a power commander or a chip but unsure which or both. my bike is coming off road soon for a major overhaul as just bought it so replacing every bearing, pads discs clutch the lot, that way its alldone for the next few years. i am going to fit a set of moded headers that are made by Red Rat off here so will take/seek his advice really.
