...and no, im not talking WoW :puke

So, thanks to some advice from a lot of you (mostly Legs, thanks mate!) I've now got a 9 month old Bol'Dor and I'm stunned. What an awesome machine!

Ok, so I moved from an SP1(Y) which was all standard so, in theory it shouldn't be that big a jump but hey, guess what, it is! I know i'm about to preach to the converted but jebus, from about 5000 upwards the RSVs got more pull than the spaceshuttle.:devious

"Why the Bol'dor? Its got a rubbish paint scheme" I hear you say. Well, initialy I agreed with you but its rapidly grown on me and now I really like it.

When I first started looking at a replacement V-Twin I had the RSVR Factory, SP2 and RC8 all in my sites, all brand new. Didn't want a Duc, I need it to start in winter. I also ruled out the SP2 quickly as I thought it would be a bit stupid to spend 10grand on a slightly newer version of my SP1. So that left me with the RC8 and RSVR F. A good bit of googling later also ruled out the RC8 as it has (at the moment) **** fuel injection so, that left me with the RSVR F.

A good few days searching through Bike Trader found that I couldn't get the black n gold model anymore and I really didn't like the red/white/black... so what now? I expanded my search to normal RSVR's and changed to second hand as well and there she sat, £5300 for an 07 Bol'Dor in immaculate condition with only 3300miles with Leo Vince - and thats not a geezer from Essex - pipes and new boots (lets not forget the 7 months tax too!) ..... what a bargain! I can't figure out why it was so cheap for an 07, is the paint scheme that unpopular with you guys? So far my neighbours have already come out and loved it, i've had people in the street at lights compliment it, car drivers ask me to rev it and give a big thumbs up ..... and thats only in the first four days!!

Sadly, i've had it for four days no and only finaly last night could i open it up as much as I dare with new tyres (rain, rain and more rain over the last few days) but, i'm stunned. I love it!:inlove ..... I know this is all a bit random but i'm just chuffed to bits:doug

Think i'm gona move the girlfriend into the garage.....

p.s. Are your headlights so bright on normal beam that you get flashed/people covering there eyes?

The brighter the lights the better, for me anyway, at least the blind goons will have more chance of seeing yah before pulling out of junctions, great choice by the way, :thumbup

Cool bike cool colours
You may have to reset the headlamp aim poss. too high I lowered my headlamp aim but never dropped my full beam, when full beam’s on they look like search lights
