Hi,

Didn't know whether to stick this in my previous thread 'A worried hello' - or start a new one.

I was just out in the shed checking whether my bikes been derestricted or not. The wire is cut at the ECU. So I was moving on to check the status of the air box, after I removed the OS side panel I noticed 2 unconnected wires (out of the main loom). These look as though they have never been connected together since the connectors are suitably oxidised. One wire is Grn/Blue and has a male bullet connector, the other has 2 wires Grn/Wht going into one female bullet.

Should these be connected or are they for diagnosis etc?. Any advise appreciated.

Cheers, tony

if it's the o/s seat panel then yes, they are the diagnostic wires. Connect them together and turn on the ignition, it should read diag 0. Don't forget to disconnect them once you turn off the ignition

Bloody 'ell that reply was fast!!
Thanks Legs, meant seat panel not side panel.

Cheers, Tony :thumbup
