OK, I think I have now answered my own questions. Looked up the info and drawings on AF1 site and it seems the fixing (Anchor) points are all the same from 04 to 09. The difference is that they split the side and rear fairings into sections after 06 (probably to make components cheaper when damaged? more sections) also added a few extra design air vents to the sides. So now I can purchase and fit the race pattern ABS fairings to my bike without any fear of not fitting? I hope!! I'll let you all know when they arrive. I didn't like the fibre fairings and the units I'm purchasing look to be a good finish. Photos later. I now have drawings which show changes but couldn't attach image? . :thumbup
