Will a pre 06 shock fit a V1000 R ( second gen) tuono?

Just looking at alternative shock options - and I know that ohlins are great - but the are also bleedin' expensive
I looked on the Hagon site and the have a shock for 02-06 Tuonos - will this fit the Gen 2 , or are they totally different?

Simple answer is no,....shock is a different length and the stroke is shorter(?).

Give them a call though,...they are very helpfull and may be able to sort you out.
