.......:confusedDid Aprilia give European bikes a **** stand:jack and USA bikes a f***in great stand!!:thumbup Mine went over last week and I am gutted. Which leads me to..does anyone have a USA stand for sale?

Is there a difference? I haven't found any problems with the stand on my bike, apart from getting my heal around the gear lever when kicking it up.....Obviously as it's a bit of a heavier bike you need to ensure it's planted securely before wandering off.!

Mate no problem with mine :confusedare you sure you did not park it the wrong way on a hill:lol:lol

No USA only, don't know why. If you find any let me know. With shipping they are mucho wanga from the States.

Who was holding the bike during the centre photo I wonder!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mate i always park bike pointing up or have i just been waaaaaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrred????

they are known to have(uk model) **** sidestands, mines had a tumble, they dont lean enough. There are mod plates available on ebay. Or the AF1 site will sell you a nice shiny alloy one(us style) but you will need to get the adaptor plate from Aprilia. Some owners affix a gxr thou stand, aparently that works with no major mods.and yeah dont park it facing down a hill or on a heavily cambered roadside or you will find the bike 'following' you as you step off it!!

Must admit they dont have a very good side stand , you need to make sure that when you park it up that you have got the bars on full left lock then give it a wee tugg over to make sure its settled :thumbup. the adapter plates seem a good idea .... Dam thats one more thing on the xmas list :pirate
