OK....

Bank holiday weekend... but I don't work in a bank so I will still work Monday

One of my team has leant me a DVD called "Glengarry Glenross" ... kfi what its about but it stars Al Pacino, Jack Lemmon, Alec Baldwin, Ed Harris, Alan Arkin,and Kevin Spacey ... so how **** can it possibly be?

In preparation and to maximise enjoyment I have sent down a 4-pack of Carlsbergs to whet my whistle ... and now a bottle of Firetail Shiraz / Grenache has been opened

Note due to screw top ... the rewarding and exciting "Sqeeee - plop" of a cork is absent

So without further ado ... logging off to watch it

Me I'm having several snifters. 2nd bottle of red cooling pizza with the wife and little one plus a few hob goblins for dessert. Mmmm lovely. Its what lifes about
 
The film was superb ... fantastic ... loved it.

The Firetail did indeed meet up with the Carlsbergs and sparked a noisy fridge raid at 0200hrs ,,, heard by all in house.

Bad head untill 1500hrs

Just opened a 2ltr bottle of Orchard Mill medium dry cider as part of my "5 a day" campaign; well, it is made of apples after all!
 
I'm all sniftered out, I need a stint in the Priory with Gazza and Amy.
 
Me too Nob. Extreme sniftering session last night. Out with the boys for my birthday (which is actually tomorrow but Bank Holiday so hey-ho).

Met @ 7:30. Got home between 3 and 4 this morning. Remember going to bed @ 4:30. When I will grow up ffs. Feel like a bag of *****.
 
Well didn't feel so bad I couldn't have a bit of a snifter to see my 42nd birthday in. Taking it easy though overdone it big style last night. On second bot of vino though. Happy birthday me :thumbup
 
Hey Stix min...its mah bday as weel the day...celebrated bein 49 wi a really welcome 5.30 rise tae work this morn an it went doon hill frae there! Plus point tho, Wee Morag had made a nice roast dinner fur oor tea tho so nae bad scran fur a Tuesday.

Haein a wee Bowmore and watchin the SkyPlussed WSB ah missed at the weekend afore beddibyes...

Happy Bday Rico!

Had a pretty quiet but enjoyable birthday. Had a little blast on the T trying to finsh off my rear tyre scrubbing in process. Now finishing it all off with much vino :thumbup
 
Now then,
i'm one lucky fella, i'm off today after working nights but i woke to a text from my good lady asking if when she gets home she can take me to our favorite local with our pup and sample some of their finest tipples, how can i say no when she's been working.:cheers

Having yet another snifter (these half-terms are hard on me poor liver) but not too much as me & Roly going for a blast tomorrow. It's hard being a teacher you know having all these hols ;)
 
Aaahhh what could be better than a couple of hours quick blast and a snifter in a nice pub serving proper ale with fantastic views. Shweet.

Back home with a couple of kebabs and Mrs Ends got the chiminea blazing away with a bottle of vino collapso waiting for her bear of a man.

I'm in BBQ mode at the mo, Two huge steaks a bit of rabbit food on the side and a large Morgans and coke to help it down.:thumbup
