Fuggin ell. How expensive is ale in corner shops ? FFS. Lit the barbi last night and had a panic attack, I though it might be better to lay off the wine and obvious whiskey that follows that and that it would be sensible to maybe have a few tinnies instead, bearing in mind I might be riding in the morning and with what happened last weekend like. Went to the three nearest shops and came away with a bottle of fizzy water, some pitta's and a turkish delight for Mrs Nob. Robbin twats don't wan't to sell ale if you ask me. Crap like Heineken and Fosters was all over a pound a can and the best deal I saw was 4 stella's for £4.50. I'm not a tight **** but when the frig did normal ale go over a quid a can ? No wonder the supermarkets are rammed every day. :thumbdown

Good ride on Exmoor with shotgun and the guys today. Bike looks like it's been dragged out of the docks but I can't be arsed to clean it tonight. Gonna have a long soak in the bath with a bike mag then crack open the bottle of red I left warming nicely in the sun in the kitchen :thumbup

Dumb *****... Yer livers are going to be little concrete doorstops if you keep that up. Nob... for shame...

That being said, I am half pished on two pints so I know I'm just a lightweight in this company...

kinda embarrassing when yer 20 stone...

19 titles Shovel, not pints you pleb. But, I did get through a fair bit yesterday. Don't know why I have to have whiskey after gallons of bitter and wine. My cousin died of alcohol related problems over the weekend, so I got pissed then as well to help me deal with it :sigh

I was actually shaking a little this morning, time for a detox mefinks.

Ewwwww, laddie... get yer LFTs checked the next time yer in for a physical. I haven't been on a good lash in a long time. The aforementioned inapprpriate affectionate nature of mine being a major reason NOT to drink around the wife... Or friends wives it seems...

"The aforementioned inapprpriate affectionate nature of mine being a major reason NOT to drink around the wife... Or friends wives it seems..."

.... never a good combo Shovel, a treacherous path for the unwary!

weeelp, after a couple of snifters or a few pints... those smiles they give just seem intoxicatingly provocative and I HAVE to respond!!

Just better if I dinnae drink...

Had a snifter.... Then a burger..... My lads wouldn't go out for pizza so I had to walk meself..... Back in time to realise I dont need another snifter..... Ahhh bed ;)

Ooooohhhh me bonce, went for an Italian with Mrs End. Had a bottle of rioja with me creamy smoked salmon pasta and another one and a bit when I got in. Oh and 5 bags of crisps, mmmm mmmm mmmm :thumbup

Ok, I tried it.... I opened a bottle of Fat ******* Shiraz (no! Really!!) last night. Her Indoors had a glass and i polished off the rest. She had to get a crane to get me off the chesterfield. Long shift in Paeds and Trauma prior. And best of all, five hours later, it's 0800 hrs and I cannae get back to sleep for the ******* life of me!

****. I wanted tae sleep in a wee bit after getting off work at 0030....

Bottle of Shiraz last night. Went down well but half way in got a text from me mate next door sorting a road ride (cycling) at 8.30 this morning. First half an hour this morning felt like *****, nothing in me legs at all, but ended up doing 40 miles with a few climbs and felt better for it.

Tonight, polished off me curry, few Stellas earlier, now glugging the fruit of the grape whilst watching the Stones in Hyde Park. Splendid! :thumbup

Oh yeah, this arvo missus and older daughter went into town, younger daugher (9) pestered me to take her down Wesson Super Mud on the T. Didn't take much persuading, cruised down there (though as she weighs bugger all I forgot she was there a few times and performed some errr "enthusiastic" overtakes, hope she doesn't tell the missus), had an ice cream, went to Smiths for some Justin Beaver cards (for her, no really..), came back to the bike to find it covered in sand as it was blowing a ******' gale off the estuary, and headed home. No more than 30mph as the wife instructed........

ah well... me and the missis had a good night out away in otly (yorkyland).. came back home today, the boy has had a few mates round... house nice and tidy... fridge still full o beer .... happy days.

Drank Stellas all day and now on the Vino. Played the Eurovision drinking game which is quite a dangerous thing to do. Hmm yes I'm a bit pissed now :thumbup

Gilo - I've seen some of your overtakes first hand. You sure that behaviour is suitable for a 9 yr old to witness!!?? :)
