Who has the best carbon parts?

O

OldTZracer

I've been looking to pimp out my '07 and noticed a wide range in prices for carbon bits. I know you usually get what you pay for but has the nicest pieces?

Can tell you this, I have had carbon from 3 different EBAY suppliers and I also have genuine Aprilia carbon and also some carbon from the "BOYLER" from the zone.

Its no secret that Boylers carbon is THE BEST around, PM him and just get the best around :thumbup

Yep Boylers ya man, id only have his carbon as it truly is the best around for quality and price :thumbup

If there's one guy who knows about fitting carbon to his bike its gotta be 'carbon kid' his bike is practically made of the stuff! I'm sure he'll be able to advise where he gets his from.

Hi, i aint seen boylers cf but if the guys here hav seen his it will be worth looking at, there are loads out there like you say ,my only adboce wouldbe tjat if yer gonna do a lot of panels etc, get ot all from onr supplier, so it allatches and fits together properly. Panels always need a bit of fettling as its all made by hand , you could also look at OPP racing ducatikamna and sebimoto and qb carbon here in the uk

cheers ck

Thanks for your comments. I'll track down Boyler.

Anyone dealt with these guys?

Prices look good but quality is hard to see from 3000k away.

My Black RSV used to belong to boyler.....as you can imagine its dripping with his Carbon,
I didnt like the front mudguard which was carbon and white under the clear cote.....so I purchased a Spibey one....I had a touch...on New Years Eve I won a brand new one for £40 delivered....not brilliant but after adding the new sticker on the front Im quite happy with it.

I have pm'ed Boyler and he said he wasnt doing carbon anymore due to work commitments he's no longerdoing carbon parts

I note:
- QB Carbon seems to have skipped the '04-08 RSV
- Ducati-kaemna.de = German Aprilia porn
- Sebimoto = Czech Aprilia porn
- OPP is actually a Canadian company...

I have a Spilbey/Spibey (I forget the spelling) exhaust hanger bracket.

I wanted to take the pegs off and this seemed a bargain. Looks ok, fits well- and cheap too.

I was also looking at their huggers and the only reason one haven't bought one yet is that I'm skint!

Opp has amazing carbon, and yes rhey are canadian so you have import duty and tax 2 add

Had 2 pieces from Spibey, without me getting to down. The carbon pieces I got were the swingarm covers (not bad) and the shark cover (was *****).

However his service is great and he will always wrok to make the customer happy. A BIG PLUS.

hi mate

I have a set of upper fairings and inner air pullers from these, eerrmm nice guys to do business with very open and honest. Products were let down for me by finishing. In each case half the product was covered in the gloss finish associated with carbon and the other was not. Hard to describe what I mean, but the upper surfaces were not all covered in the high gloss finish of that all carbon products come in!!

Only my opinion, maybe they have sorted the probelm by now, but they were fair and gave me my money back with no issues

tony

Thanks Tony.
The pictures on their website seem to show some of the surface inconsistancies you mention. Good to hear they are easy to deal with - might be worth a phonecall...
